Brave the Dark invites you to dress as your favourite character and experience an unforgettable evening filled with mystery, magic, and camaraderie among fellow fans.
Indulge in delectable canapés, a drink to start the evening, and take home your own copy of Onyx Storm hot off the press as a memento of the night.
The highlight? A candle-lit concert by Paradiso Strings, weaving the magic of music inspired by dragons and rings to fully immerse into the world of Fourth Wing.
Brave the Dark is a non-licensed, fan-created event, crafted for those who wish to celebrate their love for Fourth Wing and share the magic of the series with kindred spirits.

I have a food allergy or dietary requirement, or I don’t drink alcohol. Is this okay?
Absolutely! Our venue caters to various dietary needs. Please add any allergies or requirements to your booking during checkout, and we’ll ensure non-alcoholic options are available.
Is there wheelchair access at the venue?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Can men attend?
Yes! Fans of Fourth Wing and fantasy are welcome, regardless of gender.
What are the age requirements?
As this is a licensed event, all attendees must be 18 years or older. There’s no upper age limit—if you love fantasy, you’re in the right place!
Do I need to show ID on arrival?
Yes, your ID must match the name on your ticket, and you must be over 18.
I’m attending alone, and I’m a bit shy. Is that okay?
Absolutely! Many attendees will be coming solo, and there will be plenty of activities to help you connect with others.
What’s the dress code?
Elegant cocktail attire or Fourth Wing-inspired outfits are encouraged. Please avoid dresses larger than two hoops, props exceeding 50cm from the body, and floor-dragging items. No replica weapons allowed.
Do I have to dress up as a character (cosplay)?
Feel free to cosplay, but it’s not required! Just wear something that makes you feel amazing.
What’s the policy on weapons?
Replica weapons are not permitted at the venue, so please leave them at home.
What if it rains?
The event will continue rain, hail, or shine! We have the option to move inside at Flaxton Gardens.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable, due to the considerable expense of running the event.
How many tickets are available?
Our venue accommodates up to 200 attendees.
What if tickets sell out?
Join the waitlist, and check your email and our website regularly for priority notice of other amazing, upcoming events.
How many tickets can I buy?
Feel free to buy as many tickets as you like. The more, the merrier!
How can I pay?
Payments are accepted via credit or debit card during checkout. All payments are securely processed via Stripe.
Will there be a sit-down dinner?
No, this is a cocktail-style event with circulating canapés, and a drink on arrival. You are free to purchase more drinks at the bar if you like.
